Memory Lane
Before I came out to stay with my mom and help her pack up to move to CA, I convinced her to take me on a trip down MY Memory Lane... When I was 4 years old, we moved from Jacksonville, FL, to Denver, CO. The house I lived in was yellow and had brown trim... But, unless we hadn't known the address, we'd have gone right past it because it had been painted GREEN! UGH! The tree that was very small in the beginning, and had outgrown me by the time we moved to Oklahoma in 1987, has grown to enormous proportions! The neighbor's house has been built up and added to, as was the school I attended Kindergarten through the first part of 4th grade.
After Oklahoma (my 4th grade year was spent in OK), we moved in with my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin in Longmont, CO. We lived in three different houses there during my 5th and 6th grade years. I was the one that remembered how to get from my schools to the houses today, which actually felt odd to me. I don't remember much of my childhood (hence the reason I wanted to take this little journey), but cannot explain why. All I will say is that there was a terrible person that did things that nobody should EVER have to deal with.
The house we all lived in during my 6th grade year, and my Cousin's Kindergarten year, was dark brown then, but it is now a very pretty blue color! I think they've done a beautiful job in the landscaping department. The school there hasn't changed much at all, as compared to the other two we visited today.

Just saw your comment on my blog. Where in Colorado did your mom live? I always love meeting readers and would have loved to meet you! PLUS I see that you are an Aries like me, SO we would have hit it off! :)
