The Joys of Food (that I don't have to cook!)

I love food... it makes me super happy. I love food that I don't have to cook even better! We don't go out to eat too often, but for Valentine's Day, Larry and I went out to our local mom and pop Chinese food restaurant, Fong's Cafe. I love the quiet atmosphere of this place. The staff are genuinely happy to serve and if something isn't right, they'll do what they can to make it better. Our entrees that night includes egg drop soup (I love egg drop soup, it reminds me of when my grandma and I would go to King Soopers and get a quart of it from the deli and scarf it down back at her home!).
I like that they add just a few chow mein crunchy noodles in there, gives it a bit more substance. Before we had even finished this small bowl of soup, our appetizer plate came! I didn't realize this was part of the deal either! Score! Egg roll pieces and pot stickers with sweet and sour sauce.
And again, before we could finish off these few appetizer pieces, our main dishes came. Larry got a shrimp something with low mein noodles (I'm highly allergic to shrimp now and it's a major bummer!). I ordered low mein with cashew chicken and sweet and sour pork. I ate a bit less than half of this enormous platter and had the rest for lunch at work the next day.
I definitely recommend this out-of-the-way dining experience if you're in the Southeast Idaho area. So yummy, big portions, great atmosphere, and courteous staff make for a lovely date night.
